Peace Poster Competition 2023 Thanks to all the students and staff of St Brendans and Scoil Aiseiri Chriost Primary Schools who participated in our Peace Poster Competition - theme "Dare to Dream". Cork Lions had a great day judging the posters and costumes in both schools!!  Winning poster Alana Leahy of St Brendans Below are other poster entrys and costumes             Lord Mayor's Heritage Concert 2023  Cork Lions Club members who helped organise this years Lord Mayors Heritage Concert Cork Lions Handover 2023   Thanks to Lord Mayor Cllr Kieran McCarthy who hosted the Cork Lions Handover         We took the opportunity to make donations to local causes during the handover - Childhood Cancer Foundation, Little Blue Heroes, Cork First Responders, Cork Life Centre.   Cork Lions were delighted to support a project where the club donated 8 Ukuleles to Peter Neville who works with youths in recovery through the HSE Child and Adolescent Addiction Service, Arbour House. Peter will use the instruments to teach the Ukulele to a group of youths who attend a recovery program three days a week  Winning team AIB of Cork Lions Golf Classic kindly sponsored by Fitzgeralds Menswera, Patrick St., Cork   Cork Lions Golf Classic 2023 Runners Up IPC and 3rd place IEC Thanks to all teams who participated !! Cork Lions donate Defibrillator to Ukraine  Past Lion Don O'Leary and members of the Life Centre team recently travelled to the Ukraine border where they passed over a Defib donated by Cork Lions Club for a maternity hospital. The team also donated several generators, gas stoves, sheets, blankets and essential supplies for people still living in the war zone.  Cork Lions Defibrillator Location in St Lukes   Cork Lions have added another AED location to their Defibrillator Project Pictured is Cork Lions President Garry Ryan and receiving the AED from Martin Holohan of St Lukes Dental Practice who kindly donated the unit. Recycle for Sight Drop Off Locations Cork Lions club works in co-operation with Cork City Libraries to collect old glasses
Keep Well Booklet Galway Lions Club have worked with the HSE on a Mental Health Initiative to “Keep Well" during Covid. The areas covered include; Stay Active, Stay Connected, Switch Off, Eat Well and Mind your Mood.
